Risk Appetite is your path to easy decision making.

While serving overseas. I would travel to different countries, planning on behalf of my organization and leadership. Before leaving, it was a critical step for me to ask what can I and can I not do. At what threshold do I need to call back and get sign-off on a decision.

These decisions applied to risks we were willing to take as well.

Understanding your leaderships risk appetite, threshold, and tolerance is the easiest way to set yourself up for success!
