two dates worth circling (one's in 4 weeks)

Hey, it's Russ

Quick one today!

First, for my US Friends.... Happy Independence Day weekend! I hope you have a safe and risk-planned out weekend!

If you or any of your friends are quietly googling "how do i get my pmp" at 11pm and hasn't found what you need.... I have some information.

PMI is overhauling the PMP® exam starting July 9, 2026... new exam content outline, new PMBOK® Guide information, the whole thing. Every old study guide, old practice test, and "just do what I did" tip from a coworker? gone stale overnight.

So if someone's been sitting on the fence, this is the nudge.

Two dates worth knowing about first:

PMP® — July 27–30 (Mon–Thu)
soonest one on the calendar. four weekdays, done. if someone wants to be certified under the new exam structure before summer's over, this is the one.

PMI-RMP® — Aug 1–2 & Aug 8–9 (weekends)
right behind it. two weekends, no PTO needed. this is the one for anyone managing project risk without the letters to back it up — which, if we're honest, is most people managing risk right now.

not those dates? full schedule's below — PMP runs through December, RMP has one more round in October.

PMP® (rest of the year)
→ Aug 29–30 & Sept 5–6 grab a spot
→ Sept 12–13 & 19–20 grab a spot
→ Nov 14–15 & 21–22 grab a spot
→ Dec 12–13 & 19–20 grab a spot

PMI-RMP® (rest of the year)
→ Oct 10–11 & 17–18 grab a spot

So, if this isn't for you....forward this. Seriously, that's the whole ask today. Send it to the person who needs it more than you do.

Reply and tell me who you sent it to. or if you're the one who needs it (again, no judgment), reply and I'll help you figure out PMP® vs. RMP®.

Stay Motivatee!
Russ

P.S. Not sure which track fits? PMP® is "run the project." RMP® is "protect the project." reply and I'll point you the right way!
